It's situated at the bottom of George Street, right in the middle of everything. The bus terminal is also just a 10-minute walk away, making it convenient for exploring the city. the free breakfast provided, with options like toast, cereal, and tea/coffee, was a nice touch.
I had a positive experience at Tiger Hostel. Although there were a few minor drawbacks mentioned in other reviews, such as bathrooms not being as clean and some rooms having a smell of mold and sweat, I personally did not encounter these issues.

the location was also perfect, as it was walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. One of the best aspects was that the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with local recommendations and directions.
There were a few negatives. the bathrooms were a bit outdated and could have been cleaned more frequently.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the heart of the city. The location was amazing, right by all the shops and great places to eat. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, clean, and exactly like in the photos. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, I had a great night's sleep. Plus, they even had breakfast included, which was a nice bonus.

The accommodation was good value for money. The rooms were equipped with USB ports, making it easy to charge my phone. Plus, there was a great little balcony where I could relax and enjoy the view. its location was unbeatable, with easy access to transportation and close to all the main attractions.
The bathrooms were not very clean and there were only a few available. I found it hard to meet new people, as the TV room was small and closed quite early.

The hostel has a great location, close to the town hall and museum train stations, as well as the central or town square station. It is also located in Chinatown, making it very convenient for dining and exploring. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, as mentioned by previous guests, and the staff is generally pleasant and helpful.
One aspect that could be improved upon is the number of bathrooms available on each floor. Some guests commented that there were only a few bathrooms for an entire floor, which could lead to longer wait times and less convenience.

We loved the central location of this hotel! It's situated in the heart of the city, just a few steps away from the town hall station and the harbour. The hotel facilities were clean and tidy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't opt for breakfast at the hotel, but there were plenty of restaurants, cafes, and pubs in the area.
Nothing not to love!
